Spanish Payroll Delivery Senior Associate

About the role

Strada, a people, payroll and technology leader operating in 180+ countries, is looking for a Spanish Payroll Delivery Senior Associate. The role supports the team that executes payroll and post-payroll activities and/or data management and customer service activities, ensuring accurate and on-time output. The position may focus on payroll and/or customer service, with flexibility to support either as or when required.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll end to end according to the agreed calendar, KPIs and standards, or carry out data management or customer service work as agreed
• Support statutory and year-end reporting
• Advise clients on queries and issues, with a strong understanding of country-specific legislation
• Mentor apprentices and associates through knowledge transfer sessions
• Respond to tickets and calls within SLA timescales and support system maintenance testing
• Liaise with third parties, complete SOC controls on time with evidence, and support root cause analysis
• Maintain DWIs, log defects with evidence, report deviations to the Service Manager and record time accurately
• Follow security standards, attend team meetings and take part in projects as assigned

Required profile

• BA/BS in a business-related field such as accounting, human resources or business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-3 years of experience administering payroll or health and welfare/benefits in an HR consulting, HR outsourcing or corporate environment
• Current and future work authorization in the country of application, without visa sponsorship
• Background checks (identity, education, employment, etc.) are required

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• HRIS knowledge: Workday, SAP or PeopleSoft preferred
• Desirable: experience with HR and payroll data
