Staff Product Manager - Billing (VAT)

About the role

Perk is looking for a Staff Product Manager to own the Billing product area, a strategic function that powers the company’s global growth. You will shape vision, strategy and execution for a platform that handles international tax compliance, AI‑powered invoice extraction and VAT reclaim automation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision, roadmap and strategy for the Spend and Billing ecosystem.
• Lead high‑velocity execution with cross‑functional teams, using customer feedback, data and market research.
• Prototype rapidly with AI tools such as Claude and Cursor to accelerate product development.
• Stay plugged into AI research and industry trends, applying insights to product features.
• Lead and mentor a small team of engineers and designers, fostering a servant‑leadership culture.

Required profile

• Significant product management experience in a tech company, preferably with tax or finance products.
• Strong understanding of accounting reconciliation and finance operations.
• Data‑driven decision making and ability to evaluate trade‑offs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI prototyping tools (Claude, Cursor).
• Experience using design and collaboration platforms such as Figma and Git.
• Fluency in data analysis for product decisions.
