Static Stress Engineer – RFE Airframe Customer Services

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Static Stress Engineer to join the RFE Airframe Customer Services team in Getafe. You will provide rapid, on‑site engineering solutions for Airbus fleet repairs that fall outside the Structural Repair Manual.

Key responsibilities

• Perform static stress analysis for repair proposals using validated methods.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, design principles, processes and manufacturing capabilities.
• Analyse damage reports to identify root causes and develop repair solutions.
• Interpret non‑destructive testing (NDT) results and integrate findings into analyses.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders to obtain approvals.
• Prepare and deliver certification documents for repaired structures.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural analysis engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• High adaptability and customer‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Static stress analysis of aerospace structures.
• Proficiency with analysis tools such as ISAMI and Finite Element Method (FEM) software.
• Knowledge of NDT interpretation.
