Steward

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Steward to join the team at W Ibiza, a luxury beachfront hotel in Santa Eulalia del Rio. The role involves maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the hotel’s food and beverage areas, supporting the culinary and service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, hand‑wash stations, pot‑scrubbing stations and trash compactors.
• Wash, disinfect and sanitize kitchen surfaces, tools, knives, silverware and other equipment using appropriate chemicals.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables correctly and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
• Inspect, pull, stack and store cleaned items; return any soiled items for re‑washing.
• Rinse and spray racked items with hot water to remove food residue.
• Sort, soak and re‑wash silverware as needed.
• Break down dirty bus tubs, empty and maintain trash cans and dumpster areas.
• Clean and mop all designated areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
