Strategic Core Account Executive - Big Data & AI

About the role

Databricks, the Data and AI company, is looking for a Strategic Core Account Executive in Madrid. You will bring an informed point of view on Big Data, Advanced Analytics and AI to design and deliver differentiated use cases and solutions for customers, working with Databricks teams and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop unique use cases and solutions that differentiate Databricks
• Co-develop a business plan with the team and ecosystem partners that accelerates customer success, uncovers new opportunities and exceeds quarterly and annual usage and booking goals
• Motivate a team of big data and AI professionals to implement the business plan
• Lead customers and partners to identify impactful use cases and prove their value on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
• Support customers' big data and AI transformation through strategic partnerships, professional services, training and executive engagement
• Build value across engagements to guide successful negotiations and close deals

Required profile

• Direct sales experience of enterprise software platforms to large enterprises
• Ownership of executive-level client relationships
• Experience with large, complex, regulated organisations
• Quota over-achievement and growth selling complex software and services to enterprise accounts
• Experience driving adoption of usage-based subscription services (SaaS) and co-selling with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud teams
• Fluent Spanish and business English

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Data & AI space with technology sales experience
• Sales methodologies such as Territory and Account planning, MEDDPICC, Challenger Sales and Command of the Message
• Building partnerships with champions and implementing a partner strategy
• Understanding of consumption-based, land-and-expand sales models
