About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is offering an 11‑month full‑time internship in Getafe as part of the Discover II graduate programme for 2026‑2027. The role focuses on structural dynamics, aeroelasticity and high‑speed impact analysis, providing hands‑on experience in a leading aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse theoretical aspects of high‑speed impacts such as bird strikes, ice, and debris.
• Set up, run and interpret impact simulations using Airbus engineering tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate simulation results into design studies.
• Document findings and present results to senior engineers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Advanced proficiency in English and negotiation‑level Spanish.
• Strong team spirit and ability to work in complex, international environments.
