Subgobernante/a – Portinatx

About the role

The Subgobernante/a will support the hotel management team at Barceló Portinatx, ensuring smooth daily operations and high guest satisfaction. This position combines planning, staff supervision, cost control and quality assurance in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and control defined processes for the department, focusing on efficiency and guest experience.
• Plan daily work schedules, set objectives, allocate tasks and monitor progress.
• Supervise work methods, material usage and client interaction to guarantee service standards.
• Control costs by managing human and material resources efficiently.
• Oversee staff management, including scheduling and performance monitoring.
• Ensure service quality meets customer expectations through standardized procedures.

Required profile

• Medium‑level training in Hospitality and Tourism or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar hotel supervisory role.
• High proficiency in English; a second language is desirable.
• Knowledge of office software and cleaning products/techniques is valued.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent office suite.
• Understanding of professional cleaning techniques and products.
