Supply Chain Demand Support Intern

About the role

Philips is looking for a Supply Chain Demand Support Intern in Madrid for a 6-month, remunerated internship. The intern supports the Supply Chain Team by monitoring equipment deliveries and carrying out other tasks related to inventory and forecast management. The internship is signed through a convenio de practicas with the university, and the expected start date is as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, compare and analyse the order book to check deviations on delivery dates and alert stakeholders so they can take corrective action.
• Identify delivery dates that are not assigned and start the escalation process.
• Analyse inventory each month to check aging items and alert on actions needed.
• Design a Power BI dashboard for local KPI monitoring.

Required profile

• Currently studying for a bachelor's or master's in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a similar degree, and able to sign a convenio de practicas with the university.
• Commitment of 30-35 hours per week in a morning schedule.
• Fluent Spanish and English.
• Proactive attitude, quick learner, enjoys building new connections and working in a team, and is a problem solver.

Required skills

• Ability to analyse data and draw conclusions from it.
• Preferred use of MS Excel and Power BI.

The internship is hybrid: the office is in Sanchinarro, Madrid, and office-based teams work in person at least 3 days per week.
