Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist to support our Spanish operations. Based in Barcelona, you will manage purchasing activities, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure smooth supply‑chain processes within an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate purchasing and procurement activities with suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, delivery conditions, lead times and service levels.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, logistics providers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor order status, delivery timelines, stock availability and supply‑chain risks.
• Coordinate with headquarters, internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
• Follow up on purchase orders, transport documentation and delivery confirmations.
• Support supplier evaluation, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyse supply‑chain data and prepare reports for decision‑making.
• Assist in purchasing recycled materials and understand their technical characteristics.
• Represent the company at supplier visits, trade fairs and industry events.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Organisation, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supplier management.
• Proven experience negotiating with suppliers.
• Experience in industrial environments, raw or recycled materials, plastics, chemicals or technical products is a strong plus.
• Fluent Spanish and solid English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with ERP or internal supply‑chain systems.
