Supply Manager - Combat Spain Services & MRO

About the role

A Supply Management position for Services & MRO has opened within Airbus Defence and Space, joining the Supply Management Services (aftermarket) & MRO team in the Procurement area. The role covers Combat (mainly Eurofighter) Spain In-Service Support and acts as the key internal customer interface with suppliers to cover customers' demands and avoid operational impact. It also manages an internal task force for customer protection.

Key responsibilities

• Act as focal point for suppliers on operational activities and contract management, and as supplier ambassador to internal functions
• Manage material flows so that outsourced and purchased products are delivered on time, quality and cost
• Control supplier activities and understand their overall situation and scope
• Handle demand management and ordering, including missing parts and recovery plans with suppliers
• Support MRO and retrofit activities and in-service task forces (e.g. EF Plateau, Tiger Team, Maturity)
• Provide consolidated forecasts to suppliers and manage non-conformances, supporting root cause analysis
• Handle export control (export licence signatures, export control classification declarations) and invoice management to ensure timely payments
• Monitor supplier performance via the ordering cockpit and coordinate closely with internal customer sites

Required profile

• Aeronautical, industrial engineering degree or a related discipline
• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, export control or aircraft/component repair
• Advanced English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Nice to have: prior experience in aviation aftermarket, military services or defence procurement

Required skills

• SAP (or equivalent ERP), MS Office and Google Workspace
• Strong communication and negotiation, proactive risk management and adaptability in multicultural teams
