Tax Specialist APAC – Madrid

About the role

Fever is looking for a Tax Specialist to lead its tax practice across APAC and the Middle East while being based in Madrid. You will work closely with the Tax Manager to support global tax compliance and strategy for a fast‑growing tech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse direct and indirect tax matters in APAC and Middle East jurisdictions.
• Identify tax risks, planning opportunities and determine uncertain tax exposures.
• Collaborate with third‑party service providers and local finance teams.
• Support all indirect and direct tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Prepare applications for tax rulings, incentives and exemptions where available.
• Provide advice to senior management on tax risks and transaction structures, especially for acquisitions.
• Contribute to improvements and solutions for internal tax processes.

Required profile

• Regional tax expertise covering APAC and Middle East jurisdictions.
• Proactive ownership and ability to work in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess tax risks and opportunities.
• Experience managing tax audits and interacting with external advisors.
