Tax Specialist

About the role

The Tax Specialist will join a dynamic tax team that supports the Human Health and Animal Health divisions. Reporting to the Associate Director of Tax, the role focuses on executing core in‑country tax activities and ensuring end‑to‑end process integrity across direct and indirect tax areas.

Key responsibilities

• Support transfer pricing activities, intercompany pricing updates and coordination with Corporate Tax.
• Coordinate direct and indirect tax compliance processes, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT/SII and withholding tax obligations.
• Assist with tax accounting tasks such as tax provisions in line with US GAAP and statutory requirements.
• Participate in tax audits, prepare documentation and liaise with tax authorities and external auditors.
• Execute, document and maintain tax controls and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with Finance, Corporate Tax, ATR and other stakeholders to ensure correct tax treatment and process alignment.
• Contribute to the standardisation and digital transformation of tax processes, leveraging emerging technologies including AI.

Required profile

• Motivated tax professional with a solid understanding of Spanish tax regulations.
• Ability to work across Finance, Corporate Tax and business partners.
• Interest in developing technical tax capabilities and supporting process transformation.
• Familiarity with the Healthcare and Animal Health markets is a plus.
