Team Head - Products & Services Compliance

About the role

The Team Head – Products & Services Compliance is a senior position within the Compliance function of Bank Julius Baer Europe. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory and Product & Services Compliance, you will lead a dedicated team that monitors product and service compliance across the bank’s core activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing compliance team focused on product and service monitoring.
• Ensure full adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations for all BJBE entities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business units, legal, risk and product development on current and emerging regulations.
• Design, implement and continuously refine a risk‑based compliance monitoring framework aligned with group and local standards.
• Oversee the annual Compliance Control Plan, drive remediation efforts and prepare periodic reports for senior management.
• Represent Compliance in internal committees at both BJBE and Group levels.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in EU financial regulation, including MiFID II, IDD, AML/CFT, CRS/FATCA, sanctions, MAR and ESG rules.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑jurisdictional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk‑based oversight.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to the highest standards of conduct.
