Team Leader Warehousing

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Team Leader to oversee our warehouse operations. In this role you will supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery while leading a small team of warehouse staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise receipt of incoming goods, checking for accuracy and quality.
• Oversee proper storage, organization and inventory management.
• Manage preparation and dispatch of outgoing shipments, ensuring orders are picked, packed and shipped on time.
• Coordinate with the shipping department to schedule dispatches.
• Conduct regular inventory checks, cycle counts and maintain accurate records in the warehouse management system.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Lead, schedule and delegate tasks to a team of six warehouse staff, providing backup when needed.
• Provide training, development and maintain good communication with key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational procedures and maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and implement new systems and processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Forklift licence.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) proficiency.
• Inventory software proficiency.
• Forklift operation.
