Tech Lead – Full‑Stack & Database Engineering

About the role

Deel is looking for a Tech Lead to drive the design and delivery of high‑impact backend and data systems. You will shape architecture, influence product direction, and mentor engineers while working on a global payroll and HR platform used by millions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and solve complex technical and product challenges.
• Design scalable backend services and data pipelines that perform under real‑world load.
• Own architectural decisions across services, databases, and system boundaries.
• Ensure reliability, efficiency, and scalability of all critical systems.
• Lead execution through influence, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

• Deep expertise in full‑stack development and database design.
