Technical Data Engineering Specialist

About the role

Join Airbus Customer Services in Getafe as a Technical Data Engineering Specialist. You will be a key interface between Airbus and its airline, MRO, and lessor customers, ensuring that maintenance and material documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date, and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical data authoring and quality assurance activities for assigned ATA chapters.
• Coordinate authoring work, meet contractual specifications, quality standards and budget objectives.
• Identify and resolve roadblocks that could delay manual updates.
• Continuously assess documentation for potential customer issues and implement improvements.
• Act as the primary liaison between technical data teams, customers, design offices and subcontractors.
• Manage configuration at the MSN level for all written procedures.
• Oversee subcontractor deliveries, monitor performance and define KPIs.
• Analyse aircraft design changes (service bulletins, MMEL, etc.) and ensure documentation compliance.

Required profile

• Experience with aircraft technical documentation and maintenance manuals (AMM, TSM, IPC).
• Familiarity with ATA chapter structure, especially chapters 24, 33, 36, 47, 49.
• Ability to work in a transnational environment and coordinate with teams in Germany, France and the UK.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
