Technical Data Manager - MRTT Technical Publications

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Technical Publication - Technical Data Manager in Sevilla, Spain. The selected candidate joins the Technical Publications and Technical Data Management team within the MRTT and A400M programme. Acting as a Data PMO, the main mission is to turn high-level programme milestones into production plans, schedule workload and track data delivery phases to ensure quality and on-time execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate data collection activities and resources to issue reference data deliverables on time and to quality.
• Perform industry systems re-engineering to improve data collection processes.
• Control the exchange of data and information with customers and industry.
• Control post-delivery updates of technical data and aircraft data.
• Implement, maintain and perform data quality checks.
• Configure and manage aircraft data, collect and exchange it with other companies, and deliver it for aircraft handover.
• Support industry processes with aircraft data.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (aeronautical, industrial or equivalent technical background).
• 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in the sector.
• High analytical skills, strong organisational and workload planning ability, milestone-driven mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
• English at B2 level.

Required skills

• Core tools: SPRINT, SIDIE, EPD, SMART.
• Specific IDS platforms: Samanta, Qualico, Stylo.
