Technical Project Manager – Complex Software Delivery

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to drive execution of complex technical initiatives across mobile applications, cloud/backend services, and platform engineering at Lingo. The role partners closely with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, Product Managers, QA, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity and Program Management to translate technical plans into clear workstreams and keep delivery on track.

Key responsibilities

• Drive delivery execution across technical initiatives, supporting sprint planning, backlog readiness, dependency follow‑up and milestone coordination.
• Translate technical plans into executable workstreams, sequencing and timelines in partnership with engineering leads.
• Identify, track and escalate risks, blockers and cross‑team dependencies early, assigning clear ownership and mitigation paths.
• Coordinate work across mobile, backend, cloud/platform, QA, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity and other partner functions.
• Maintain transparent project status views, including milestones, scope changes, dependencies and delivery risks.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to align technical work with roadmap priorities while respecting capacity constraints.
• Support release readiness by coordinating technical inputs, dependency closure and test evidence.
• Help establish sustainable ways of working, reducing ad‑hoc coordination and improving predictability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management or similar software delivery roles.
• Highly organized and technically fluent, able to bring structure, clarity and accountability to complex software delivery.
• Proven ability to work in a lean pod model where product focuses on outcomes and engineering owns end‑to‑end execution.
