Technical Services Manager – Hotel Barceló Portinatx

About the role

The Technical Services Manager will lead the maintenance and auxiliary services of Hotel Barceló Portinatx, ensuring that all installations operate safely and efficiently while supporting the wellbeing and development of the maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, control and monitor all maintenance tasks for hotel installations and auxiliary services.
• Organise and coordinate the team of maintenance technicians, ensuring effective and cost‑efficient performance.
• Propose and implement measures to improve performance, maintaining a robust preventive‑maintenance programme and ensuring staff safety and training.
• Develop preventive‑maintenance and repair programmes, guaranteeing optimal operation of machinery and facilities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with quality standards and budget constraints.
• Forecast spare‑part and equipment needs, managing stock levels according to defined minimum and maximum thresholds.
• Oversee third‑party maintenance contracts and actively participate in occupational health and safety initiatives.
• Prepare budget studies for installations, equipment and preventive‑maintenance activities.
• Create work schedules, manage attendance records, and handle staff leaves, hires and terminations.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo Grado Superior) in maintenance; a degree in Industrial Technical Engineering is desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar maintenance‑management role.
• English language skills are a plus.
