Technical Services Officer

About the role

The Technical Services Officer ensures that all hotel installations and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Working on‑site at the Barceló Bilbao Nervión hotel, you will support preventive and corrective maintenance while upholding the brand’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the proper functioning of all hotel installations and machinery, guaranteeing correct usage and optimal maintenance.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow directives from supervisors and adhere to Barceló’s quality standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and report any irregularities.

Required profile

• Medium‑level technical training (Ciclo Formativo Medio) in Maintenance.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar hotel maintenance role.
• Valid B‑type driving licence and own vehicle.
• Team‑oriented attitude with good communication and analytical abilities.
• Additional training in legionella control or pool maintenance is a plus.
