Technical Software Project Manager – DevOps

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Software Project Manager to lead and coordinate DevOps practices across 70 distributed software teams in Europe and America. The role works closely with a central team of technical experts to drive implementation of tools, processes and security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the implementation of DevOps practices across 70 distributed software teams in Europe and America.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor the rollout of DevOps tools, processes and procedures.
• Coordinate security tools and vulnerability remediation activities, ensuring actions are understood, assigned and completed.
• Oversee configuration and implementation of applications following best practices.
• Drive the implementation of automated test suites and testing practices within teams.
• Act as a bridge between the central technical expert team and distributed software teams, clarifying requirements and expectations.
• Organize and facilitate technical meetings to align teams and resolve issues.
• Establish regular follow‑up meetings, track action plans, deadlines, dependencies and report progress to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development or technical environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong technical background in software development and IT environments.
• Practical understanding of software development and DevOps processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical professionals and drive commitment to action plans.
• Strong organizational and follow‑up skills, capable of coordinating multiple teams simultaneously.
• Autonomous, proactive and persistent approach with a “get‑it‑done” attitude.
• Ability to work from Barcelona and be present on‑site three days per week.
