Temporary Collections Analyst (Valencia)

About the role

Under close supervision, the Temporary Collections Analyst will support the Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team in Valencia, ensuring accurate classification, examination and analysis of accounting records, and preparation of financial reports in line with U.S. GAAP and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Classify, examine and analyze accounting records and prepare financial statements.
• Support U.S. GAAP and statutory reporting, balance‑sheet reconciliations, KPIs, fixed‑asset accounting and inter‑company charges.
• Assist month/quarter/year‑end close activities and statistical reporting.
• Provide information for internal and external audits and support audit requests.
• Execute special projects and analyses as assigned.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities within the accounting function.

Required profile

• Experience with accounting and external reporting in an FMCG or Big‑Four environment.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS or local GAAP and related compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
• Commitment to integrity, sound judgement and adherence to company policies.
