Territory Manager - Power Generation Solutions

About the role

MWM Energy España, part of Caterpillar Energy Solutions, is looking for a Sales Engineer to supervise and coordinate sales and solution programmes for new MWM Gas Generator Set systems, integration services and aftermarket services. The role covers initial sales of new projects and after-sales support for installed equipment, within an assigned geographical area and for specific customer accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Use knowledge of gas generator set products and services to identify sales opportunities, propose solutions and convince customers that MWM is the right partner for their long-term needs.
• Develop a sales plan and forecast for the assigned territory to support company objectives and strategies.
• Manage customer relationships, build new contacts and markets, and ensure technical services are delivered as expected.
• Ensure contract fulfilment complies with company policies and secure bookings to meet the sales plan and targets.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, preferably with postgraduate studies or a specialization in Energy, or equivalent.
• Minimum C1 level of English; Portuguese is an asset.
• Experience in the energy sector, negotiation capability and ability to build long-term relationships with key customers.
• Availability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the power generation industry, its trends, regulations and market drivers.
• Account management, value selling and negotiation.
• Effective communication and decision-making.

The base minimum pay is EUR 73,020, which may vary with experience, qualifications and location. Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
