Test Support System Integrator (Military Derivatives)

About the role

A Test Support System Integrator position is open within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid), covering military derivatives. The role supports the test means used in laboratory tests and mission systems, preparing them for validation and verification and ensuring they are delivered correctly to the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare test means for system, sub-system, equipment, component or module validation and verification activities, and maintain their configuration in dedicated configuration management tools.
• Perform required maintenance of test means, handle Unit Under Test (UUT) and investigate failures and solve problems.
• Ensure the safe operation of test means and tools by applying and respecting applicable standards.
• Develop and deliver test solution systems supporting test environments, user programs, code/decode communication protocols and rig stimulations, used by laboratory test means and other mission systems.
• Support sub-system and system integration testing, qualification and certification activities.
• Integrate, verify and validate laboratory test means before delivery to the final customer.

Required profile

• Engineering degree.
• At least 2 years of engineering experience.
• Advanced level of English.
• High adaptability to new topics and ability to work in a team.
• Nice to have: experience in flight or rig testing.

Required skills

• Comprehensive experience in designing, developing and integrating software in the rig.
• C++ software development.
• Qt cross-platform software development.
• Software testing.
