Transport Technician

About the role

Persán is seeking a Transport Technician to ensure the efficient distribution of its home‑care and personal‑care products. You will manage transportation operations, maintain warehouse stock levels, and support logistics teams while keeping costs low and quality high.

Key responsibilities

• Manage national and international transportation, stock availability, order processing and incident resolution.
• Analyze stock levels, anticipate shortages and coordinate shipments to logistics operators or customer warehouses.
• Make decisions during truck shortages and evaluate alternative transport agencies.
• Perform external warehouse inventory checks and reconcile SAP stock with physical counts.
• Monitor service levels of customers, logistics operators and transport companies, preparing reports and improvement plans.
• Coordinate with Planning to guarantee product availability for shipments.
• Collaborate with Cost, Finance, Commercial, Quality and Planning teams to support logistics operations.
• Maintain logistics data sheets and ensure accurate information flow to operators.
• Communicate continuously with transport providers to resolve incidents and improve processes.

Required profile

• Previous professional experience in any field.
• Intermediate‑advanced English (B2); French is a plus.
• Relevant training or a Master’s in International Trade, with knowledge of Incoterms, customs management and maritime transport.
• Highly involved, adaptable, motivated and able to take initiative.
