Travel Consultant – GDS Sabre (Remote)

About the role

As a Travel Consultant you will be the primary point of contact for BCD Travel’s corporate clients, helping them plan and book journeys efficiently. You will work remotely, providing expert advice and ensuring compliance with travel policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Search, book, and confirm travel reservations using the Sabre GDS platform.
• Interpret and apply client travel policies, offering tailored consultation.
• Handle regulatory requirements such as DOT, TSA, passport and visa documentation.
• Provide clients with up‑to‑date industry information, including fare options, exchange rates and penalties.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and commercial relationships.
• Maintain current knowledge of trends across the travel industry.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a travel agent or consultant.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in French or Italian.
• Solid understanding of travel industry policies, procedures and processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Sabre GDS system.
