Travel Counselor (French & English)

About the role

As a Travel Counselor you will join Amex GBT’s remote team to provide premium travel support for corporate clients. You will work in both French and English, advising individuals and groups on domestic and international business travel while ensuring compliance with travel policies.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel itineraries for corporate customers, including air, rail, road, and accommodation bookings.
• Conduct research on travel options, anticipate traveler needs, and promote additional services.
• Use Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus) to book and manage reservations.
• Ensure compliance with client travel policies, service provider rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide proactive telephone service, handle special requests, and resolve issues quickly.
• Collaborate with team members to mentor, coach, and improve service quality.

Required profile

• Strong passion for client service and proactive problem‑solving.
• Professional written and verbal communication in both French and English.
• Attention to detail and integrity when handling personal traveler information.
• Solid understanding of the travel industry, preferably with experience in business travel.

Required skills

• Expertise in Global Distribution Systems: Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus.
