UNIQLO Management Candidate Graduate Programme – Spain 2027

About the role

The UNIQLO Management Candidate (UMC) Graduate Programme is a 12-month accelerated leadership journey for ambitious graduates ready to shape the future of retail. It is based on the shop floor, with rotations in store operations, and is open to candidates in Madrid and Barcelona. The programme starts in March or September 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Months 1-4: learn store operations such as customer service, product deliveries and replenishment, omni-channel and checkout operations, onboarding new starters and product category management.
• Months 5-6: act as a supervisor, coordinating teams, developing colleagues' performance, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction, and owning a key subdivision.
• Months 7-12: work alongside the Store Manager as an assistant manager, covering sales analytics and KPI performance, inventory and commercial planning, layout optimization and store standards, workforce planning aligned with sales forecasts, and team development and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree.
• Permanent work authorization in Spain (student visa not accepted).
• Minimum B2 level in English and Spanish.
• Flexible to work weekends and varied shifts, and open to relocation within Spain.

Selection involves online assessments including English and Spanish proficiency tests, an in-person group assessment centre, an online individual interview and a final interview.
