Unlicensed Line Maintenance Mechanic (A320) – Bilbao

About the role

Volotea is looking for an unlicensed Line Maintenance Mechanic to join its Bilbao station. You will work on A320 family aircraft, supporting daily line‑maintenance tasks, troubleshooting defects and ensuring flight safety under the supervision of licensed personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out and verify all line‑maintenance tasks in accordance with the company MOE, including assessment of omitted work and agreement of deferrals.
• Perform rectification and troubleshooting of inbound, routine‑inspection and deferred defects.
• Ensure no non‑compliances jeopardise flight safety and that release certificates/technical logs are complete.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Control Centre to resolve technical issues and minimise operational impact.
• Provide clear instructions to flight crew via the technical log for airworthiness verification.
• Maintain line‑station housekeeping, manage tooling and parts logistics, and comply with EASA Part‑145 requirements.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with A320 family aircraft.
• Ability to work reliably in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Familiarity with EASA Part‑145 standards and supervised line‑maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
