Unlicensed Line Maintenance Mechanic (A320) – Bilbao

About the role

We are looking for an unlicensed Line Maintenance Mechanic to support A320 family aircraft at our Bilbao station. Working under supervision, you will perform line‑maintenance tasks, troubleshoot defects and ensure safety compliance in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out and verify line‑maintenance tasks according to the company MOE, including defect rectification and deferred work management.
• Perform troubleshooting of inbound or routine inspection defects and coordinate with the Maintenance Control Center to minimise operational impact.
• Ensure release certificates and technical logs contain all required details and that no non‑compliances endanger flight safety.
• Provide clear instructions to flight crew in the technical log and support crew actions needed to verify airworthiness.
• Maintain line‑station housekeeping, manage tooling and parts logistics in compliance with EASA Part‑145.

Required profile

• EASA Part 147 approved course to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance License or EASA Part 66 License (without type rating).
• Previous experience in an aviation MRO environment – line maintenance, maintenance control or airline engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to work rotating 24/7 shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Driver’s licence; additional language skills (French, Spanish, Italian) are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AMOS maintenance software.
• Experience using Airbus World.
• Familiarity with AIMS.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems and EASA Part‑145 procedures.
