Virtual Workplace Platform Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Virtual Workplace Platform Engineer you will be the go‑to specialist ensuring Bosch’s virtual applications and desktops run smoothly for thousands of employees worldwide. You will work from our strategic tech hub in Zaragoza, shaping the architecture, driving cloud integration and automating repetitive tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Support, maintain and upgrade Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructure, including Citrix Cloud components.
• Manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments and related configurations.
• Own machine catalog, delivery group, global policy, profile management and Workspace App endpoint deployments.
• Provide L3 technical support, own complex issue escalations and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Identify manual processes and automate them using advanced PowerShell scripting.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to knowledge‑base, change, problem and release management following ITIL practices.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience in virtual desktop infrastructure.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently on complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with global teams and internal Bosch units.
