About the role
The Waiter will provide attentive food and beverage service to guests at W Ibiza, a luxury beachfront hotel. This full‑time position involves interacting with guests, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
- Set tables according to event type and service standards.
- Answer guest questions on menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, wait times, and product availability.
- Record transactions in the MICROS POS system at the time of order.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverage.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.
- Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.
- Follow all company safety and security procedures.
