Waiter/Waitress – Playa Blanca

About the role

Join the Barceló Playa Blanca team as a Waiter/Waitress, delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests in a vibrant resort environment. You will work autonomously while maintaining the brand’s standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Execute qualified, autonomous, and responsible service and sale of food and beverages.
• Welcome guests, seat them when necessary, and ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Provide direct assistance to customers during food and beverage consumption.
• Prepare, set up, and dismantle service areas, including arranging tables and chairs.
• Maintain, clean, and organize work areas and tools required for service.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio en Hostelería) with HACCP certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Preferred knowledge of mixology, restaurant operations, and general hospitality.
• Strong teamwork orientation, stress tolerance, agility, and a polished personal image.

Required skills

• HACCP (food safety) knowledge.
• Mixology (cocktail preparation) skills.
