Warehouse Manager – Madrid Fulfillment Center

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the launch and ongoing operation of our brand-new small-goods fulfillment centre in the Madrid area. You will own the end-to-end site blueprint, from layout and inventory intake to high-velocity e-commerce outbound dispatch, ensuring compliance with local labour regulations and JD Logistics’ global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the operational commissioning of the fulfilment centre, meeting launch timelines and achieving 100 % regulatory compliance.
• Design, adapt and optimise standard operating procedures by translating global high-velocity frameworks to the Madrid hub.
• Build, train and organise a local team of supervisors, team leaders and operators, fostering a metrics-driven performance culture.
• Serve as the primary operational liaison with global headquarters, managing KPIs, multi-million SKU inventory accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure strict adherence to the Madrid Logistics Collective Agreement and regional labour standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large-scale warehouse or fulfillment operations, preferably in a greenfield environment.
• Demonstrated ability to establish processes from scratch and scale them efficiently.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing logistics teams.
• Strategic mindset with the capacity to align local execution with global corporate objectives.
