Warehouse Operator (Earthmoving)

About the role

The Warehouse Operator (Earthmoving) is the execution engine of the European aftermarket supply chain, handling the full physical flow of spare parts for heavy machinery. The role ensures timely inbound receiving, accurate put‑away, efficient picking and packing, and reliable outbound dispatch while meeting strict productivity targets and 100 % inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Unpack and verify incoming shipments, scan items into the WMS and put them away to designated bins.
• Pick and pack orders, achieving productivity targets of 60 lines/hour for small parts or 15 lines/hour for large components.
• Prepare shipments, attach correct labels and documentation, and load courier vehicles or freight trucks.
• Prioritise emergency “Machine Down” orders for VIP customers and ensure dispatch within SLA windows.
• Conduct daily/weekly cycle counts and support annual physical inventory audits.
• Report damaged goods, missing items or location discrepancies immediately.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks safely and maintain a 5S‑compliant, hazard‑free workspace.

Required profile

• High school diploma, vocational training or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of hands‑on warehousing experience, preferably in automotive, construction machinery or 3PL environments.
• Valid forklift operator licence (counter‑balance or reach truck).
• Familiarity with handheld RF scanners, barcode systems and basic WMS interfaces.
• Physical ability to lift heavy earthmoving components and perform repetitive manual tasks.
