Workshop Service Technician – Hydraulic Drive Systems

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Workshop Service Technician to join the Hägglunds division at our Malaga workshop. In this hands‑on role you will overhaul, inspect, repair and test hydraulic drive systems, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Strip, inspect, diagnose, repair and test Bosch Rexroth Hägglunds hydraulic drive systems and related components.
• Perform fault finding, prepare detailed service reports, product analyses, test documentation and quotations.
• Plan and prepare service activities, gathering parts, tooling and technical information.
• Maintain workshop equipment, tools and calibrated test assets while upholding HSE and housekeeping standards.
• Share technical knowledge with the Engineering team and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide operational support to the External Service Department, including occasional off‑site assistance.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Hydraulics or a related field.
• Proven experience working with hydraulic drive systems, motors, pumps and power units.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Hands‑on experience in workshop‑based repairs, rebuilds and testing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
