XPLORER 2027 Mission Systems Software Internship

About the role

Ready to join an Airbus program in Spain, this 6‑month internship is aimed at final‑year engineering students who will develop a Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG) within the Mission Systems Software domain.

Key responsibilities

• Research and document the state‑of‑the‑art development tools used in Mission Systems software.
• Automate the development environment to accelerate functionality delivery.
• Explore AI‑based approaches for software requirements, design, implementation and verification.
• Produce a prototype integrating selected tools into the Mission Systems SW environment.
• Disseminate the new tool and best practices across the team.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Computer Science, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, Data Science or Aeronautical Engineering) in the final year of study.
• Basic knowledge of object‑oriented programming.

Required skills

• C++ programming.
• Python programming.
• Linux operating system usage and basic administration.
• Bash scripting.
