Converter Market Sales Leader – South Europe & Emerging Markets

About the role

3M is seeking a Converter Market Sales Leader for South Europe and Emerging Market Regions. The role will drive commercial strategy, lead a team of specialists and expand the company’s converter portfolio across target markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute regional converter market strategy to achieve sustainable, profitable growth.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team of Converter Market Specialists.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with converters, focusing on customer‑centric sales execution.
• Promote adoption of new product introductions and expand the 3M portfolio.
• Utilise 3M AI tools and digital solutions to enhance sales productivity and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Marketing, Portfolio, Applications Engineering and Design Solutions to deliver integrated solutions.
• Develop commercial plans for core and high‑growth business segments.
• Maintain executive relationships with key partners and stakeholders to identify new opportunities.
• Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline discipline and data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Science Engineering or Business Administration preferred).
• Extensive experience in sales, business development or strategic account management, with several years of people leadership.
• Proven track record of leading commercial teams and delivering profitable growth.
• Deep understanding of converter markets, specification‑driven selling and complex B2B value chains.
• Experience influencing stakeholders in matrix organisations.
