Cybersecurity Strategy Consultant

About the role

Join Capgemini Invent’s Digital Trust practice as a Cybersecurity Strategy Consultant. You will work with CIOs, CISOs and DPOs to design and implement security architectures that protect information assets for clients across Spain and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and audit Security Management Systems (ISO 27001) and Business Continuity Management Systems (ISO 22301).
• Apply regulatory frameworks such as ISO, NIST, ENS, DORA, GDPR, PCI‑DSS and PSD2 to client environments.
• Define security requirements for new services and development projects.
• Conduct risk assessments using methodologies like MAGERIT, OCTAVE and ISO 31000.
• Perform offensive security testing and security audits, and develop governance models and strategic security plans.
• Create and monitor KPIs, KRIs and KGIs, and maintain scorecards for continuous improvement.
• Develop training and awareness programmes for employees and senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in strategic cybersecurity, preferably within consulting or IT project environments.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Based in Madrid or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Implementation of ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 security frameworks.
• Knowledge of NIST, ENS, DORA, GDPR, PCI‑DSS and PSD2 regulations.
• Risk assessment techniques (MAGERIT, OCTAVE, ISO 31000).
• Offensive security testing and security audit methodologies.
• Definition and monitoring of security KPIs, KRIs and KGIs.
• Design of security training and awareness programmes.
