DevOps Engineer CI/CD

About the role

dLocal is looking for a DevOps Engineer to act as the technical referent for a high‑impact team building mission‑critical platforms for global brands. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers and champion an AI‑first approach to software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define engineering standards, guide architectural choices and mentor team members.
• Embed AI agents and assistants throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Design and implement self‑service platforms and automation frameworks to boost developer productivity.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines for scalable, reliable and secure releases.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using declarative, Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
• Architect cloud‑native, resilient solutions with a focus on security, observability and cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain internal tooling, increasingly AI‑assisted, to streamline operations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise platform performance using observability and monitoring tools.
• Evaluate emerging AI models and define guidelines for their responsible adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a technical lead or referent, driving technical decisions.
• Strong background in building and operating CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
• Passion for AI‑augmented engineering and modern software delivery practices.
