Director of B2B Finance

About the role

This role is the financial and operational owner of Preply's B2B business. You will build the systems, metrics, and governance that enable high‑velocity, compliant growth across Finance, Sales, Product, and Legal.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with VP Finance and Head of B2B to drive growth and profitability, overseeing ACV, GRR, NRR and unit economics.
• Build and own the B2B forecast model covering pipeline‑to‑revenue conversion, bookings, margin and cash.
• Lead the deal desk, balancing growth, discounting discipline and legal compliance.
• Formalize contracting, deal governance and maintain global contract entities for tax efficiency.
• Integrate Salesforce, ERP and analytics systems into a single source of truth and champion AI‑native workflows for automated reporting.

Required profile

• 8‑12+ years in FP&A, strategic finance or business operations within B2B SaaS, marketplaces or enterprise GTM.
• Deep fluency in B2B GTM metrics such as CAC payback, ACV, GRR, NRR, pipeline velocity and gross margin.
• Proven track record building financial infrastructure across GTM, Legal, Product and Treasury.
• Hands‑on experience with deal desk, pricing and accounts‑receivable management.
• AI‑native mindset, regularly using AI tools to accelerate analysis, modeling and reporting.
