Full‑Stack PHP & Java SpringBoot Developer (Remote)

About the role

Spainlink is looking for a versatile full‑stack developer who can work on both PHP and Java back‑ends while contributing to modern front‑end interfaces. The position is fully remote and operates on a freelance / B2B basis, allowing you to collaborate with global clients and a skilled engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and fellow developers to design solutions that meet functional and security standards.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Java with the SpringBoot framework.
• Develop and maintain backend services using PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CakePHP.
• Assist in migrating legacy Java code to newer architectures when required.
• Build responsive front‑end components using Angular or React.
• Debug and resolve issues across the full technology stack.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with PHP (Laravel, CakePHP, or similar) and Java/SpringBoot.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and architecture.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Availability to work aligned with the US Eastern Time Zone (EST).
