Rental & Used Manager

About the role

The company, a leading industrial machinery provider with a rental fleet, is looking for a Rental & Used Manager to lead its Rental, Used Rental and Used Equipment operations across all branch offices in Madrid.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial performance and daily operations of the Rental, Used Rental and Used Equipment department.
• Oversee inventories at branch offices and customer sites, ensuring accurate tracking and maintenance.
• Review service orders before invoicing and supervise quality and timeliness of used‑equipment repairs.
• Coordinate buying, selling and transferring of equipment, working with rental managers in other countries to optimise utilisation.
• Schedule delivery, pickup and maintenance of all equipment, monitoring repair times and costs.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, participate in sales meetings and set rental pricing.
• Maintain direct contact with customers, support sales calls and accompany trade‑in evaluations.
• Lead and develop the rental team through coaching, performance reviews and goal setting.

Required profile

• University degree (Grado) or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in equipment rental, leasing or related industrial operations.
• Proven ability to manage teams and drive financial results.
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.
