Sales Specialist – Design Solutions (France & Spain)

About the role

3M is looking for a Sales Specialist to drive design‑in activities for its Adhesives & Tapes portfolio across France and Spain. You will work within the Industrial Adhesives & Tapes Division, focusing on automotive OEMs and high‑growth segments such as medical devices, robotics and energy storage.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical specification (design‑in) activities in customer R&D centres to secure 3M adhesive and tape solutions.
• Grow the business with a primary focus on automotive accounts while expanding into other high‑growth sub‑segments.
• Build and maintain relationships with R&D engineers, designers and key decision‑makers at OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers.
• Identify new opportunities through account targeting, pipeline development and specification‑based selling.
• Conduct competitive and technology intelligence to position 3M solutions effectively.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth technical integration during design, validation and implementation phases.
• Achieve sales targets by managing pipeline, projects and CRM data across the territory.
• Present technical concepts, run design workshops and represent 3M at industry events.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or Master’s in mechanical engineering, materials science, chemistry or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in technical sales or business development within industrial markets.
• Strong understanding of adhesive and tape technologies and their application in automotive or related sectors.
