Senior Analytics Engineer

About the role

Join Zynga’s Central Analytics team in Barcelona as a Senior Analytics Engineer. You will design and maintain high‑quality data marts, build AI‑powered workflows, and enable game and marketing analysts to extract actionable insights from massive player datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Write and optimise complex SQL queries for experimentation, feature engineering, and large‑scale data analysis.
• Design, build, and maintain cross‑game data marts that deliver clean, transformed data to analysts.
• Develop scalable, reusable code, tools, and frameworks for use across multiple game teams.
• Collaborate with game analytics teams to co‑design and sustain data tools and products.
• Construct and operate end‑to‑end AI pipelines that support daily analyst tasks.
• Share best practices and mentor analysts on coding and software‑engineering standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics.
• Proven experience in analytics engineering or a similar data‑focused role.
• Ability to learn quickly, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL, including CTEs and query optimisation.
