Senior Associate – Financial Due Diligence (Deals)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join PwC’s Deals Transaction Services team in Madrid. You will work on financial due diligence engagements for both buy‑side and sell‑side transactions, helping clients assess value drivers and financial assumptions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial due diligence reviews for acquisitions and disposals, analysing historical performance and future projections.
• Identify and evaluate key value drivers, risks and upside opportunities for private equity and corporate clients.
• Leverage data‑analytics tools to extract insights and support price adjustment analyses.
• Prepare clear, data‑driven reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure comprehensive due‑diligence coverage.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Economics or Engineering.
• 2‑3 years of experience in transaction services, audit or related advisory work.
• Fluent English; daily work will be conducted in English.
• Strong analytical mindset and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• PowerPoint.
• Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, Alteryx (or similar data‑analytics tools).
