Senior Backend Developer – .NET C#

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join its TechOps team. You will work on the GlobalLink platform and related services, delivering high‑quality, secure, and scalable backend solutions for web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of application development, focusing on coding, debugging, and security compliance.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable APIs and backend code using .NET C#.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, designers, and front‑end developers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, bugs, and implement fixes and optimisations.
• Apply security best practices to protect sensitive data.
• Develop and maintain automation tests in partnership with automation engineers.
• Provide technical support to users and document operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best coding practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience building scalable, reliable backend systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
