Tax Senior – General Tax

About the role

As a Tax Senior at Deloitte Trinidad you will act as a trusted advisor, delivering tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work on business tax, international tax, M&A, indirect tax and transaction support while continuously developing your expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan and execute tax engagements covering business tax, international tax, mergers & acquisitions, transaction support and indirect tax.
• Provide general tax compliance and consulting services, leveraging Deloitte’s tax tools and emerging technologies.
• Mentor and develop junior tax team members to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Participate in Deloitte’s DE&I, sustainability and well‑being initiatives and community events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification.
• Active progression towards or completion of ACCA (Level 3 or fully qualified).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tax, tax accounting, legal tax services or financial control.
• Proven ability to research, learn and apply corporate tax legislation and methodologies.
