Vice President Finance – Insurance & Investments

About the role

The Vice President Finance is a senior finance leadership position responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, performance management, controls, and strategic finance activities across the Group's insurance, investment, asset management, and related financial services operations. The role partners closely with the Group CFO, business‑unit CEOs, investment leaders, risk teams, and other senior stakeholders to drive financial discipline, profitability, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management for insurance and investment businesses.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, management accounts and financial analysis.
• Provide FP&A and commercial finance insights to senior management and business leaders.
• Monitor revenue, profitability, margins, cash flow and return on capital across all units.
• Support insurance finance functions including premium income, claims, reserves, reinsurance and underwriting performance.
• Oversee investment and asset‑management reporting, valuation, income, expenses and performance metrics.
• Assist Group‑level capital planning, solvency, liquidity and balance‑sheet management.
• Ensure strong financial controls, accounting policies, governance frameworks and internal‑control procedures.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and meet regulatory reporting requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and modelling for M&A, strategic investments, new products and capital allocation.
• Identify cost‑optimization and operational‑efficiency opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, management reports and business‑performance analytics.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives involving ERP, automation, data analytics and process improvements.
• Coach and develop finance managers, controllers and other finance professionals.

Required profile

• 12–18+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in insurance, investment or asset‑management environments.
• Proven ability to partner with CFOs, CEOs and senior business leaders.
• Strong track record in financial planning, reporting, capital management and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading large finance teams and driving transformation projects.
