Account Manager – French Public Sector

About the role
This is a 100% sales‑focused position targeting the French public sector market, where sales cycles typically span 6 to 12 months and align with public procurement and budget calendars. You will design and execute a commercial strategy to grow accounts and revenue through upselling, cross‑selling, and contract renewals.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a territory‑wide commercial strategy and action plan.
- Drive revenue growth by upselling, cross‑selling, and renewing contracts with public sector clients.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success teams to nurture and expand account value.
- Represent goFLUENT at trade fairs, public sector networking events, and client meetings.
- Manage multiple stakeholder relationships, including HR, L&D, Procurement, and executive management.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of successful B2B sales experience.
- Exposure to the public sector (ministries, local authorities, hospitals, universities, government agencies) is a plus.
- Ability to sell consultatively in environments with multiple decision‑makers.
- Willingness to understand public sector budgeting and procurement cycles.
- Organised, analytical, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Growth mindset: eager to learn, seek feedback, and continuously improve.
